Memory, screens & everyday wellness

Could your child's wireless device be affecting their memory? Researchers found a concerning link.

The teens whose brains absorbed the most phone radiation showed a measurable drop in memory scores in just one year, and the drop was nearly twice as large in kids who held the phone to their right ear (Environmental Health Perspectives, 2018). It's an association, not proof. But a father of three read it and stopped waiting.

The more phone radiation a teenager's brain absorbed over one year, the worse they scored on memory tests.

That's what Swiss researchers found after following nearly 900 kids aged 12 to 17, with about 700 completing the year. It was a follow-up to the same team's 2015 study, run with double the sample, after the first one found a significant drop. The memory that slipped was figural memory, the kind kids use to remember shapes, patterns and what they've just seen. The effect was strongest in teens who held the phone to their right ear, the side nearest the part of the brain that does that work.

What it does and doesn't tell usIt's an association in one cohort, not proof of cause, and the authors said so. Nobody can honestly say "proven harmful" or "proven safe." But it's the kind of study that makes "reduce exposure where it's easy" a reasonable call for a parent. One father of three read it and didn't want to wait for the next one.

Why moms are paying attention

Every wireless device emits EMF radiation. Kids hold theirs closest, for longest.

The amount from any one device is small. What adds up is hours a day against the ear, in the hand and on the lap.

The science on long-term effects is still being studied. WaveBlock's position is simple: if exposure is easy to reduce, reduce it. WaveBlock products are not medical devices.

What one dad did about it

When remote school started, Ben's three kids lived on earbuds, tablets and laptops. He went looking for protection and found what you probably did: 99% of claims were false with almost no test results you could actually read. Some products he tested even amplified the signal.

So he built his own, with one rule: nothing ships until an accredited lab has measured it.

"I wanted something with real laboratory measurements behind it, not marketing. I invented WaveBlock for my own kids first."Ben · Founder of WaveBlock, father of three

How it works

It disperses EMF radiation. It doesn't pretend to block everything.

1
Stick it on, under the case you already own.

A thin, patented shield on the back of the phone, iPad or earbud. On in under a minute.

2
EMF radiation is dispersed into many smaller fragments.

Away from the body, instead of one concentrated path. No chips, no metals.

3
Your device works exactly the same.

Signal, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, battery and wireless charging are unaffected, so your kids won't push back.

Real science. Real data. Real results.

We Don't "Harmonize" Radiation. We Reduce It.

Your family's protection is too important to trust to a magic sticker, a celebrity endorsement or scientific-sounding promises. Some EMF products claim to "harmonize," "neutralize" or "balance" radiation, or even change your body's pH. The question is: can they show you measurable EMF exposure reduction?

Actually reduces EMF exposure

Independent laboratory tests document measurable EMF exposure reduction.

"Harmonizes" radiation

What does that mean? Where is the measured EMF reduction?

Real science. Real data.

Tested at independent FCC-accredited laboratories using recognized EMF exposure measurements.

"Neutralizes" or "balances"

Scientific-sounding words are not a substitute for measurable EMF exposure results.

Engineered around the antennas

We study antenna locations on each device (phones, earbuds, iPads and MacBooks) and engineer a specific solution for each.

One sticker for everything

The same generic sticker or metal coin marketed for completely different devices. Where is the device-specific engineering?

Tested. Improved. Retested.

We repeatedly test, redesign and re-engineer our products to achieve measurable results.

One-size-fits-all claims

A universal promise does not demonstrate how a product performs on each individual device.

Every page. Every result.

We publish complete laboratory reports, from the first page to the last, for you to review.

Screenshots & selective proof

A single page, certificate or impressive percentage does not tell you how the product was tested.

Measurable EMF reduction

We focus on actual EMF exposure measurements, not claims about changing your body's chemistry.

"Changes your body's pH"

Changing a pH reading is not the same as demonstrating reduced EMF exposure.

Different Devices. Different Antennas. Different Engineering.

Your phone, earbuds, iPad and MacBook don't have antennas in the same places. So why would one generic sticker be the answer for all of them? At WaveBlock, we engineer around the actual antenna locations, test at FCC-accredited laboratories, improve our designs, and test again.

The honest partWaveBlock doesn't remove all radiation, and nothing that lets a device keep working can. What it does is reduce the EMF exposure that accredited labs can measure, by device, under tested conditions, with the reports published for you to read. That's the whole promise.

Why moms buy for the whole house at once

Your family doesn't have one device, and WaveBlock's most common orders pair the phone with the AirPods or the iPad. So the three things families actually buy are now three bundles, each with free shipping and the exact model picked per device.

Questions parents ask

Straight answers.

Will it affect signal, Wi-Fi, battery or charging?

No. WaveBlock disperses EMF radiation rather than blocking the signal, so calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, battery life, magnets and wireless charging all work as normal.

How do I know it works?

Every WaveBlock is tested at FCC-accredited labs (TÜV SÜD and RF Exposure Lab), with additional testing led by a U.S. Army engineer. The reports are published on waveblock.com and each figure is tied to the device that was measured.

Does it block 100% of radiation?

No, and nothing that lets a device keep working can. WaveBlock reduces measurable EMF exposure, by device, under tested conditions. Anyone promising 100% isn't being straight with you.

Does it fit my family's devices?

Shields are made for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and every current AirPods model. You choose the exact model for each device when you pick your bundle.

Does it need charging or replacing?

No batteries, no charging, no expiry. Apply it under the case and forget it. You only need a new one when someone upgrades their device.

Reduce Radiation. Reduce the Risk.

This is an advertisement. WaveBlock products are designed to help reduce exposure to radiofrequency EMF radiation from compatible devices and are not medical devices. References to research describe published findings about EMF exposure generally and are not claims that WaveBlock produces specific health outcomes. Reduction percentages refer to the specific device and configuration tested; see lab reports for details. Results vary by device and usage.
